RULES TO DYE BY:
FIRST RULE: Don't worry - be Happy! Run or Dye is for everyone. No need to worry about if you are too fast, too slow, too old, too young, or too sexy! Just come experience the magic of the most colourful 5K this world has to offer!
SECOND RULE: You are your own canvas - Wearing all white may show off the colour-or get costume - CRAZY wearing that old wedding dress, 80's leg warmers, or those snakeskin pajamas. See you at the starting line!
LAST RULE: Get ready to DYE and go to heaven! The Dye Zone is where the magic happens! Our Colour Crew is specially trained to administer Random Acts of Colour with total efficiency. (HINT: We also love subliminal messages, such as: begging and pleading, striking that pose that makes us all uncomfortable, or dancing like a maniac. These are all code for "HIT ME WITH COLOUR!")
WHAT I GET
Run or Dye is the World’s Most Colourful 5K—your chance to have THE most colour-filled day of your life with family and friends!
Every Run or Dye participant gets a super sweet swag bag, filled with all the gear you need to Run or Dye! Included with each entry: awesome tee, bracelet, tattoo, dye packet, swag bag, and race number.
World's Most Colourful Dye 5k
Run or Dye is bringing you the world’s most colourful 5K. Every run will have 4 dye stations, dashing you in dye at every kilometre of your run. The end result is more colour, more fun for you and your friends.
How Does Run or Dye Work?
At Run or Dye, you become part of the rainbow. As you run/walk/dance through the course, you’ll get showered in safe, eco-friendly, plant-based coloured corn starch at every kilometre, turning you into a Technicolour canvas of fun!
Just when you thought you couldn’t possibly be more colourful, you’ll cross the finish line and find yourself in the middle of a colour storm at our world-famous Dye Festival! Jam with our awesome MC and count down to the moment when YOU and your FRIENDS get to Tie-Dye the Sky. The result is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that many people tell us is the most fun they’ve ever had exercising.
SUPPORT OUR CHARITY - HELP FOR HEROES
Help for Heroes (H4H) is thrilled to be the National Charity Partner for Run or Dye. This is the most colourful way you can support our Heroes and we’re looking forward to seeing you there!
Doing your bit couldn’t be easier; exclusive to Run or Dye you can now donate during registration, or choose the traditional route of fundraising and we’ll send you an e-fundraising pack with everything you, your friends and family need to start getting that total rising!
Help for Heroes mission is to deliver an enduring national network of support for our wounded and their families which will inspire and enable those who have made sacrifices on our behalf to achieve their full potential. This support is provided through grants direct to our Heroes and their families, grants to other charities and through four Help for Heroes Recovery Centres across the UK.
A study in September 2014 by Help for Heroes and the Royal College of Psychiatrists found that 75,000 men and women may need long term support following the recent conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan and for those who have suffered life-changing injuries, their battles will continue. Help for Heroes will not let them fight these battles alone.
By focusing on the positives – on abilities, not disabilities – Help for Heroes will provide what is needed to give the wounded the chance of a fulfilling future. But to do this, we desperately need your help.
Run or Dye welcomes ST LAWRENCE PRIMARY PTA ASH CLASS PROJECT as their charity partner. Our charity partners play a huge role in the success of this event by providing a small army of marshals and we would both welcome your support. If you would like to get involved with fundraising for the St Lawrence Primary PTA Ash Class Project you can either make a donation during the online registration or contact the charity directly here.
Our children are our future. Can you help us make the future a little better?
We are a small, state run school serving the rural community around Stone Street and desperately need to replace our prefabricated and now dilapidated Ash Class building which houses our new school entrants from the age of 4.
Your support today will benefit children for generations to come.
